Carry-On: Spoiler, the bag is too big.

Okay, first off, I am CONVINCED my first friend in this city wrote this movie in our screenwriting class, and then Netflix got their hands on the script and expanded it.

Now, onto the movie itself. I can’t believe this 27 year old is pregnant? I just turned 27 and can’t even imagine being at that point in life right now or working at an airport or wearing that awful blazer. Happy Birthday to me. But I totally get Ethan, man is stuck in a crappy job he hates (same here brother). But I gotta say, this whole terrorist attack thing actually gives him some purpose, so for that, I’ll give him some credit.

That said, I do have a few questions, and these aren’t in any particular order other than how they populate in my head: Did Jason get fired, or did he just get sent home for the day? why didn’t the military guy coworker flag Ethan’s suspicious behaviour? COULDN’T HE HEAR HIM TALKING TO HIMSELF? And how can we just move past the fact that the boss and the LAPD guy died, and everyone’s like, “Sucks about LAPD guy, let’s start a go fund me”. Super weird.

Lastly, if I were a passenger on that flight with the bomb, I’d be super suspicious of the guy crawling into the cargo space. How is no one noticing that?

Despite all my questions, this movie definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. And yes, this is absolutely a Christmas movie.
