It's true: at my core, I'm not great, but I'm good, and that is simply good enough for now. I fear I've abandoned my little business for a year, and none of you have known what I've been up to. I began knitting at the height of my unemployment, as I often find a hobby when I'm feeling down and let it become part of who I am.
Over the past year, I've secured a full-time job at a magazine. In keeping with my usual style, it's not great, but good. I've also developed a new hobby that has surpassed all the others: crosswords. I tiptoed into this world with (once again) my friend Smeej. We love all things puzzles and words, and I truly believe she ignites everything good in me.
